Summary: Mercurial on an sshfs mount with
Severity: bug
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Linux
Reporter: starkmann at undkonsorten.com
Hardware: PC
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: unspecified
Component: Mercurial
Product: Mercurial
Hi,
i have this reproducable problem when creating a repository on an sshfs mount:
1. I can create the repository with "hg init"
2. If i want to commit i get: Could not lock working directory. Operation not
permitted.
3. When i remove follow_symlinks in the mount options of sshfs this error
disappears. (not a good solution)
The reason why i do this is, that all my repositories are on an RAID5 which i
mount via sshfs.
