GSoC: Mentors, sign up! Students, begin submitting your proposals!

Now that students can start submitting applications to Mercurial, you
will need to be approved as a mentor for Mercurial before you can see
these applications. The process goes in two steps:

(1) Sign up to Melange or renew your thing from past years

(2) Send a mentor "connection" so I can approve it. There should be a
big "mentors sign up!" button somewhere.

Melange's navigation is notoriously bad, so if you have trouble doing
either one, please let me know.

As for students, you should also sign up for Melange, and then you can
start submitting your proposal to Mercurial. You can edit your
proposal as much as you want up until the deadline by the end of next
week. I, for one, encourage you to work on your proposal publicly so
we can see where your ideas are developing or even to suggest
improvements as you go along.
