terminology confusion: bookmark vs named head

Hello everyone,

I am trying to pick up hg-git, arrived to bookmarks and I found the concept
of implicitly moving bookmarks very weird. In real world you take bookmark
when you're ready to move, close a book etc. In HG it moves implicitly and
automatically.

ISTM that this bookmark is just a named head. Why it was not possible to
use the "named head" concept instead of bookmarks? Are bookmarks
something else?

Comparison between "named head" and "named branch" is also more
straightforward and can clean up a lot of garbage in people minds.
