Well, that commit message was a part of patch you've been working on. I  
wasn't sure why you have stripped it, surely you don't expect "applyer" to  
cut'n'paste description from earlier version to craft a changeset himself.  
Basically you were expected to resend the same patch with issues fixed  
(Python 2.4 support, the first line/summary). And nobody suggested  
stripping that description (because it's a good and robust one). So I  
pointed out its absence in case I've missed something :)
