Priority: normal
Bug ID: 3760
CC: mercurial-devel at selenic.com
Assignee: bugzilla at selenic.com
Summary: Valid SSL certificate not being verified
Severity: bug
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Windows
Reporter: shadowmoses at thinking-man.com
Hardware: PC
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: 2.4.2
Component: Mercurial
Product: Mercurial
I have a valid SSL certificate that is verified through the AddTrust External
Root Certificate that is not being verified properly by the TortoiseHG install.
I am not sure why this is happening. The site is
https://www.thinking-man.com/repo/ . You can clearly see that it is valid and
that it has been verified.
Things I have done.
I exported the root certificate and verified that is was located in the
C:\Program Files\TortoiseHg\hgrc.d\cacert.pem. The root certificate is stored
there as AddTrust External Root.
Every time I try to push or pull I get the Error: SSL: Server certificate
verify failed
I would really appreciate if this was looked into. If you need me to do
anything on my end please let me know.
