          Priority: normal
            Bug ID: 3793
                CC: mercurial-devel at selenic.com
          Assignee: bugzilla at selenic.com
Summary: "hg pull -u" should try not to freak me out when i
                    have an mq patch applied
          Severity: bug
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Mac OS
          Reporter: jruderman at gmail.com
          Hardware: PC
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
           Version: unspecified
         Component: Mercurial
           Product: Mercurial

I ran "hg pull -u", got a "+1 heads" message, and assumed someone else had
fucked up the repository on the server (e.g. using "push -f"). Even once I
figured out what happened, I had no idea how to recover other than using "hg
rollback".

I think "hg pull -u" should refuse to run at all when I have a mq patch
applied. But a better warning message might also work.
