The most direct way would be to remove the tortoisehg package and clone
https://bitbucket.org/tortoisehg/thg and symlink the thg script into your
$PATH.  Then you can upgrade/downgrade TortoiseHg at your whim.  Our wiki
has more detailed info for running from a clone.
