you might want to borrow one of the following three:

(1) The Linux Programming Interface
    by M. Kerrisk

(2) Advanced Programming in the UNIX Environment
    by R. Stevens, S. Rago

(3) Linux System Programming
    by R. Love

They might come handy.
I mean, sure it's everything on "the internet",
but having it all in one place is practical.
