The main developer of this topic (me) is just a bit temporary out of the loop.

I'm changing job so:
- I spend months to finish some stuff for my former employer (logilab) before leaving,
- I took 2 months of vacation before crossing an ocean,
- I'm now unexpectedly stuck in immigration limbo.

This new job includes working on changeset evolution, so you can expect the topic to move forward soon™.

At the same time other mercurial developer are also getting familiar with some part of changeset evolution and makes the topic move.
