[PATCH 0 of 2] cleanup ignore pattern of windows glob patterns

Patch 1 removes some ignore patterns which are not needed anymore.
Patch 2 adds a comment to the remaining ignore pattern. So its purpose is clearer and 
checking if it is still needed will be easier.
