Several Mercurial operations seem slower than expected on Samba-shared
repositories used from Windows 7 clients.  It can take about 10 seconds for a
single command on my machine.  I have read a report that Windows XP is much
faster, so I think newer CIFS clients have problems with Mercurial's file
access patterns.  I hope we could make some optimization or workaround here.
