[PATCH 10 of 12] template: rename label to color but leave alias for backwards compatibility

If this is too controversial / confusing for users, then we could
instead call these 'labels':

- marks (possibly confusing with obsolete markers)

(opens up thesaurus)

- pins
- tokens
- eigenvalue?
- something else
