Interesting idea from git: signed pushes

http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.version-control.git/255520 - interesting discussion mostly in the 0 of N message and in 15 of N.

I wonder if this would be a useful thing to have in an extension - with bundle2 it could be in the same payload, and then an extension could reject pushes that weren't properly signed. I think that such code would need similar infrastructure as the Mozilla pushlog extension.

Happy to talk more about this sometime, but mostly wanted to throw this idea out and see if other people thought it was interesting.
