          Priority: normal
            Bug ID: 4179
                CC: mercurial-devel at selenic.com
          Assignee: bugzilla at selenic.com
Summary: hg email should not ask for an intro message for a
                    patch series
          Severity: feature
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Windows
          Reporter: simohe at besonet.ch
          Hardware: PC
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
           Version: 2.9
         Component: patchbomb
           Product: Mercurial

hg email should generally not ask for an intro message. Currently it does not
do this when only one patch is sent. But it does when a series of several
patches is sent.
When really required, the intro message should still be created when --into is
specified. (The same as when only one message is sent.)

Automatically asking for a subject should probably be removed too. Not sure
what --subject should do when --intro is not specified. Set the subject of
[Patch 1 of X]?
