Hi Jordi,

The Debian packaging for the evolve extension already exists, and is
included in the evolve sources. I'm just suggesting possible
modifications/improvements, in case the developers are interested. As I
describe in my earlier message, the current packaging has issues. Without
interest from the developers, I don't want to spend my time making patches
that will be rejected.

It is true that Debian is unlikely to ever package the evolve extension,
in part because this extension will be folded back into Mercurial at some
point. However, in the meantime, it would be useful for Debian users to be
able to build a Debian package for this extension.

                                                            Regards, Faheem
