This is a fast debate, I'll try to not-reopen it here. (Myself love
color, hate pager except for help).

There are not included into core because nobody is did the work to
include them into core (same apply to the progress extension).
The next useful step would be to have move the code into core (but
waiting for configuration in the [ui] section to turn themself one).
