https://www.mercurial-scm.org/downloads says Python "2.4 through 2.7" works.
However, mercurial-3.6.2 setup.py says "Mercurial requires Python 2.6 or
later."

In addition to correcting the webpage text, linking to
https://www.mercurial-scm.org/wiki/SupportedPythonVersions would be very
helpful.
