Priority: normal
Bug ID: 4542
CC: mercurial-devel at selenic.com
Assignee: bugzilla at selenic.com
Summary: Make it possible to disable warning about reverting to
ECMA-48 color
Severity: feature
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Linux
Reporter: p at 2014.dobrogost.net
Hardware: PC
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: stable branch
Component: color
Product: Mercurial
Currently when one have mode=terminfo set in configuration and one uses hg not
only in "normal" terminal but in other environments (like emacs) with dumb
terminals, color extension issues warning about reverting to ECMA-48 color in
case of dumb terminals
(http://selenic.com/repo/hg-stable/file/942a5a34b2d0/hgext/color.py#l198)
It would be nice to be able to disable this warning in the configuration so
that the output of hg commands in dumb terminals wouldn't be cluttered with the
warning.
