Bumped changesets

In the last couple of days, I've noticed that every time I pull from  
https://selenic.com/hg, I get a bumped cset count:

$ ../hg pull
pulling from https://selenic.com/hg

adding manifests
adding file changes

8 new bumped changesets

But log can't find any:

$ ../hg log -r 'bumped()'
$

I thought maybe it was because I pulled from crew the other day, but I get  
it when pulling from evolve too.  I assume this is a bug, or did I miss a  
conscious change?
