            Bug ID: 4951
Summary: hg update fails with subrepositories and subpaths
                    defined in projrc
           Product: Mercurial
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: PC
                OS: Windows
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: feature
          Priority: wish
         Component: third-party
          Assignee: bugzilla at selenic.com
          Reporter: Bastian.Wassermann at multivac.de
                CC: mercurial-devel at selenic.com

Since mercurial version 3.5.2 it is not possible to update to a changed
subrepository revision, if this revision is not existing in subrepository and
the subrepository pathes are not the "regular" subdirectory sub pathes on
server.

In our case, there are subpathes to different urls defined in projrc.

If i try to update the master repository to a revision with changed hgsubstate
(to a revision not existing in repository), there appears an HTTP 404 error
that the subrepository can not reach server repository. With debug option,
there can be seen, that mercurial tries to pull from master url with
subdirectory path at the end and not the explicit defined projrc subpathes.
