            Bug ID: 5624
Summary: I renamed a directory to be the same name of an
existing file and overwrite it, resulted in "file THE
OVERWRITTEN FILE S NAME in dirstate clashes with SOME
FILE IN THE NEWLY RENAMED DIRECTORY"
           Product: Mercurial
           Version: 4.1.2
          Hardware: PC
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: bug
          Priority: wish
         Component: Mercurial
          Assignee: bugzilla at mercurial-scm.org
          Reporter: caihuosheng at gmail.com
                CC: mercurial-devel at mercurial-scm.org

If I renamed a directory to be the same path and name of an existing file and
overwrote the file, tortoisehg would fail with an error saying "Aborted: file
'THE OVERWRITTEN FILE S NAME' in dirstate clashes with 'SOME FILE IN THE NEWLY
RENAMED DIRECTORY'".

I have created an open repository for showing this problem.
