Compare:

  $ HG=false hg --config alias.narf='!$HG help narf' narf
  [1]
  $ hg --config alias.narf='!$HG help narf' narf
  abort: no such help topic: narf
  (try 'hg help --keyword narf')
  [255]

It seems to me that we should clobber any existing $HG in the environment with
ourselves when we're invoking a shell alias.
