That's just the thing - nothing unusual. I see the request for the bz2,
firefox asks me where I want to save it, and it creates the file, but it
is empty.

This is on RHEL 4 on Itanium 2 "workstation" I use at the lab. I'll test
it on my desktop at home (Debian Sid, Pentium 4).
