Is there a plan to suport hg clone -r ?

It turns out that in order to chomp one branch and leave others
unchanged, I had to implement 90% of hg clone -r. As part of getting
my changes into Matt's repo, I'll have to clean it up further. The end
result should be very easy to turn into hg clone -r.
