[PATCH] a couple of test fixes

I noticed a couple of problems when running test on Solaris 8:

1. Solaris' cat command gives a diferent error message than the GNU
version, causing problem with test-backout.
2. Some of the Solaris boxes are using older version of bunzip2, which
does not accept the syntax in test-archive.
