Strongly agreed.  mq shouldn't just drop information on the floor in
the default configuration; the default configuration should work.

At the very least, mq should use git format for any patch where not
doing so would lose information; preferably it should use git format
for all patches for consistency.

(And in cases where number of lines of context in diffs is
configurable, mq (and other things that call patch.patch) should
also vary the -F option to patch appropriately so that increasing
context in diffs doesn't cause patches to fail to apply in lots of
unnecessary cases.)
