maybe hg add on win32 doesn't work as advertised?

Hello again,
just found out something more: recursive add cares about entries in .hgignore. In this case I wanted to use hg as a kind of backup, so I used the solution as mentioned in the "let hg add do nothing" thread (ignore everything and explicitely add files using "hg add filename").
I wanted to use something like
hg add -X **.exe -X **.o -X **.*~ C:\Programme\jww
but now that doesn't work because of .hgignore.
So I have to remove this "ignore everything" line from .hgignore, which messes up the output of "hg status". I am not that much concerned about "hg add" without arguments.
Being able to tell "hg add" not to care about .hgignore would be very nice...
Best regards,
Jens
