Jens, thanks for the info.

I wanted to investigate the issue and maybe provide a patch to the
problems. but I seem unable to get the source code of hg:


C:\projects>hg clone http://selenic.com/repo/hg mercurial
abort: error: getaddrinfo failed

Google's not very verbose on that issue, so I will assume a low level
failure somewhere...
