You can use both, you know. We use launchpad for Gridnix
( https://launchpad.net/gridnix ), we utilize every tool there but
Bazaar.

I'm also quite fond of the wiki engine Google Code offers. When we
finally get organized, gridnix.org will greet users and direct them
where they want to go.

A virtual server quite capable of housing a project's web site, e-mail
and repository starts at around $20. I don't think this is an obstacle
for many and free ones aren't hard to come by.

What's attractive about Launchpad is everything in addition to bazaar
that it offers, and to some bazaar itself. I don't care for it much. If
a utility to keep our hg repos in sync with launchpad easily emerged,
I'd use it.

I think better put would be 'easy hosting'. I'd love to see it too. I
have only been using mercurial for two months now, or I'd probably try
my luck at writing something. I don't yet fully understand Mercurial
enough to try and make it easier for anyone.

I think the authors have something cool planned for the not too distant
future though.
