mercurial tip not visible

   Mystery.

   I don't suppose it's possible to publish these repos is it?

   I'd have to believe you're doing something wrong since this would  
be a fairly fundamental thing for mercurial to get wrong.

   Can you verify the id is the same on both trees and then verify  
both repos?

   If you clone both repos and do this same thing in the clones, does  
it work?

   What OS and mercurial versions are you using?
