My knowledge of Python is quite limited, I will not make promises but
I will get started even if it is some hackish solution. I will start
by saving the git-p4 output (which is the input for git fast import)
and pull that into hg. I might need help with the hg internal
functions to import the processed output, I will ping this list when I
reach that point. I plan to create a series of patches which can be
imported into hg using the existing functionality. I guess it will not
be a real FAST import though. For a fast-import, we will need some
support from the core which can take some binary format and put it
into the internal format with minimal processing, here I request the
core hg hackers to come up with some support. That can be a
fast-import.
