hg convert from svn stalls due to umlaut in path

Hi Matt,

I tried to reproduce the problem with a svn-test-repo and I could not.

I created a path including an umlaut while filling the svn-test-repo.
The resulting svn-repo I converted with hg into mercurial format.

THIS TIME I had NO PROBLEM with the umlaut.

I wonder why. Can it be that the reason was that I did this solely under linux, without a Windows client?

This all is highly mysterious.

I guess I have to perform the same test with my usual TortoiseSVN client and my linux server, convert that newly created test-repo into hg and see what comes out...
