Way to change a commit message after a commit?

If you've pushed it, then probably not. If the commit is local only, you
can enable mercurial queues by editing your Mercurial.ini (Windows) or
$HOME/.hgrc file (unix):

hgext.mq=
========================================================================

and then do:

hg qimport -r tip
hg qrefresh -e
hg qdelete -r tip
