Do you really think statements like this advance a polite discussion?
"America, love it or leave it!" was popular during the Vietnam War,
but it wasn't a very effective debating point. It was what people said
when they wanted to abuse their opponents. I'm not sure what
connotations you had in mind for your statement, but it sure doesn't
come across as being friendly or respectful.
