hi giorgos. thanks for the reply.

i do understand this, but feel that it would still make most sense for the
changsets most closely dated to the given date to be applied.  so for your
example, shouldn't we take the 18:34:56 changeset?

this also means that you can be guaranteed that if anyone runs "hg update -d
'2009-02-10 18:35:00'", they will all be updated to the exact same
changsets, which is not guaranteed if the largest revision number is instead
used.
