Thanks !
In the meantime I installed TortoiseHg 0.6 (once I'd finally found it...)
which gives me Hg 1.1.2.
I had to uninstall 1.1.1 though, as it was still in the path.
So finally I ran the version 1.1.2 of [hg update] in my repo and mercifully
it hasn't crashed yet. Instead I'm getting some prompts...
> hg update
remote changed contact.php which local deleted
use (c)hanged version or leave (d)eleted?
..which I didn't get before with 1.1.1.
I'm assuming this is just extra checking functionality, if one is
"update"ing to a working dir that's had files removed (I've emptied the
working dir, apart from the .Hg folder of course) ?
> hg update -C
forced the update in the end. But I never needed to run update -C on an
empty working dir before...hmmmm
Anyway, glad my update has completed and I can get on with my work
Thanks to all!
