that's helpful for some basics... but it leaves out quite a few keywords
(again: what do the manifest and extras keywords do? They're in the default
style for debug!) and some filters (at least the json filter, not sure what
else). And there is no coverage whatsoever of the style files format, which
is simply the same thing as a template, since there are several lines in the
style file, not just one, and it looks like some of them handle lists
(there's a start_xxx, xxx, and end_xxx for several elements).

I would be glad to help rewrite the documentation if I knew what the
behavior of templates actually was. But I don't and I'm not particularly
skilled at trying to deduce this from python sourcecode.
