Should have paid closer attention and noticed that this concerns -u,
so obviously a patch to use standard behavior is infeasible. (BTW,
OpenSolaris ships two diffs, Sun and GNU, and both support -u now;
curious what Solaris version Rupert is using.)
The test could choose to use 'gdiff' when available though, since
this is a common convention on platforms where GNU tools are add-ons.
