Converting a cvs repository to mercurial after cvs checkout .

That was the problem reported by issue1649 that should have been corrected
by http://hg.intevation.org/mercurial/crew/rev/b4b16e90712f

This is, I think, another problem. I have not the fainted idea of where it
may comes from (appart CVS raising an internal assertion error).
Could you possibly post your cvs server version, and the output of the same
command run with --debug argument ?
I hope someone will be able to help. May I also suggest to open a new bug
report in the BTS with all those informations ?
