hi matt,
you should consider micro-donations as well. i don't think i can get my company to donate money, but i know i'd be glad to toss in 20 or 40 bucks, which will buy you at least a few lunches :)   just make sure it's easy to do and fairly well publicized.  the thought of you working on hg full time is exciting enough to open up my wallet and i think others will feel the same.
