I've tried again.

cd 'ed inside project/repo directory;

ran "hg -v --debug pull" command;

The output is

| abortito: nessuna risposta accettabile dall'hg remoto!

Translation:

| MarcoBresciani at hg.sv.gnu.org "hg -R scacchi3d serve --stdio""

There was also a pop-up with this message:
