Snap extension fork

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to announce snap fork at
https://bitbucket.org/jksrecko/hgsnap/. I forked snap because I
couldn't reach Klaus. Hope he is OK.

Mainly, I wanted to update snap to Mercurial 1.8 and TortoiseHg 2.0,
but I found and squashed a few bugs in the process and made a hook
that checks that files satisfying snap.patterns are actually snapped
(which is useful for central repositories). Comments are welcome.
Extension is being tested (pre production) with Mercurial
1.8.2/TortoiseHg 2.0.3 on Windows (XP/7) and Linux (Ubuntu).

Recently, there has been a discussion about all the different
extensions to handle large binary files
(http://markmail.org/message/zxjcwmn5bx7e2foj) and importance to
design and implement (only) one that could be distributed with
Mercurial. Any news on that effort?
