For the record, it's been my long-standing policy NOT to expunge trivial
personal data from mailing lists archives I manage. It's tricky,
error-prone, time-consuming, and ultimately futile work and punishes me
for managing a free public forum.

So if for some reason you post your credit card number here, you should
just go ahead and cancel it. It's easier for you to get a new card than
for me to fix your error, and hey, it's your mistake, not mine.
