A Generic Cloud Repository as a Mercurial Repository

You mean making repositories on a bare cloud storage, don't you?  I hope it
is possible if the cloud storage implements proper lock semantics.  That
would be at least (a) if one client has a lock, others cannot have the same
lock at the same time, and (b) file changes by one client are instantly
visible to others when a lock is released.  I don't know if a cloud storage
has such properties.
